Proposed 2017 District Budget

The Board of Directors will consider the 2017 budget at a special meeting December 5, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.  Any interested elector within the District may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections at anytime prior to the final adoption.  The budget is available for public inspection at the District office. 

Subdistrict #1 Annual Replacement Plan

The Subdistrict No. 1, 2016 Annual Replacement Plan Received State Engineer approval on April 30th, 2016.  The approval letter can be viewed here.

Subdistrict #3, 4, 5, and 6

The "deadline" to return signed petitions has passed in the Conejos, San Luis Creek, and Saguache Response Areas.  If you have not made a farm plan or received petitions it is not too late.  We will still work with well owners to petition into these subdistricts, but it is imperative that you contact us as soon as possible.  Please call the office at 719-589-6301 and you will be directed to someone who is available to help.  Additionally, you can come by in person or return you petitions at 8805 Independence Way Alamosa, CO 81101.

Verification Testing and Installation of Totalizing Flow Meters on Can Pumps or Pivots 

Subdistrict #1 is requesting a verification test for totalizing flow meters installed on can pumps or center pivots utilizing surface water. If a meter is installed on water being pumped by a can pump from a reservoir or ditch system; please advise your tester to use the attached form by clicking here.  If the meter is installed on a pivot to measure both surface water and groundwater together please contact the Division of Water Resources to insure compliance.  Click here to read the letter submitted to all local well testers and  click here for a list of certified well testers
