The Sub District No. 1 Board of Managers has completed the process of preparing the Amended and Restated Plan of Water Management (also known as the 4th Plan of Water Management). The Board of Directors of the Rio Grande Water Conservation District approved the plan on June 6th, 2023 during their regularly scheduled quarterly meeting. The plan was then submitted to the State Engineer for review and approval. The State Engineer’s Office approved the plan on June 20th, 2023. The Board of Directors approved this plan through the public hearing process on July 14th, 2023. This draft is not final until it has been submitted to and approved by the court.
