Notice of Request for Proposal to Lease Three Well and Sprinkler Irrigated Quarters

Subdistrict No. 4 of the Rio Grande Water Conservation District is seeking proposals to lease three quarters north of Moffat. Proposals for annual crops will be accepted, with the goal of the lease being to maintain soil health and stability. Preference will be given to forage/hay crops. Each field is subject to a 180 acre-foot pumping limitation. The fields are being leased as they are, any soil or dirt work needed will be the responsibility of the lessee. Lessee will be responsible for subdistrict fees, utilities, and the first $2,000.00 of repairs per season.
